The E90 is the eleventh Communicator model, following the 9000, 9000i, 9110, 9110i, 9210, 9210i, 9290, 9500, 9300 and 9300i. The word “communicator” was made up by Nokia and identified a whole family or devices armed with QWERTY-keyboard. That didn’t hamper other manufacturers in their attempts to position their solutions after this device and name their products in a resembling way.

And to be fair, it’s hard to argue with that. Packing a massive 5-megapixels to rival the N95 and Samsung G600 and a stack of features you’re more likely to find on your common or garden point and shoot, it’s more like a phone camera than a camera phone. LG said that the LG KU990 Viewty will be available on all major networks. Pricing is yet to be confirmed but it’s likely to be free on a monthly contract of around £30 to £40 per month.

The W960 weighs in at 119g with dimensions of 109×55x16 mm and has a monoblock form factor.”You couldn’t ask for a better music mix of high performance media player and intuitive phone. The touchscreen is complemented by a regular keyboard and the phone itself is amplified by the Media Manager programme and the many music accessories. The days of taking an MP3 player, a camera and a phone with you when you leave the house are definitely over,” Nicklas Sivander, Product Manager for the W960 Walkman phone said.
